At our core, we believe in our scientific and programmatic approach to the design process underlining the cultural and contextual contexts, experimenting with various materials and construction techniques while trying to wrap the building spaces with the flora around them, enabling one function to flow into the other and allow the interior spaces speak with nature. The Baker's Dozen
The team at Studio8 is the perfect mix of creativity and real world practical expertise. At The Baker’s Dozen, we have worked earlier with design firms great at coming up with ideas but very impractical on execution related aspects. Arjun, Pankhuri and the team balance this beautifully. We were doing a brand store after a few years and hence wanted a new look for the brand. Not only did the Studio 8 team understand our existing brand ethos on the first go, they refined it in a new avatar while keeping the handmade artisan aspect to it. And all designs were made keeping in mind ease of execution by ensuring easily available materials and replicable designs.
Further, their in-house execution capability especially for furniture made this a match made in heaven for us! For a growing young brand like ours, it is not possible to have a separate projects team working with individual vendors such as carpenters, civil contractors etc. The combination of Studio8 and Mobius solves this problem perfectly..
