MILLET MANTRA

STATUS

An organic foods eatery, the client wanted an informal space that is vibrant and inviting for people to indulge in healthy fast food. Given the site was small, we decided to use large mirrors to make the space look spacious. A casual bench seating allows users to eat quick and carry on. The colour palette is a composition of grey and a ‘happy’ yellow.

The dado work is in a corrugated metal sheet which is also grey. A transparent shopfront with french windows ensures maximum visibility to the inside, inviting people to come in. The walls have been finished in mud plaster, creating a tactile surface and highlighted with warm interior lighting.
